Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a gold fret charged with nine light blue roundels all intertwined with a four segment red scroll inscribed at the top "THE BEST", Supports on the top center and "THE REST" on the bottom in gold.

Symbolism
The fret symbolizes the support mission. The nine roundels recall the unit's higher command; light blue refers to duty in the Pacific area. Scarlet and gold signify courage and excellence, respectively.

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 10 Aug 2000.
